Dear Parents/Guardians,

This year the school will be holding our very first Eco Autumn festival on the day of Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28th). The idea around this festival is that it will be a market/yard sale for the students and their parents to sell second-hand belongings that they don’t want anymore at low prices. We invite everyone to enjoy themselves as we entertain the kids with face make-up, games, and activites styled in the theme of autumn/fall It will be a great chance to encourage students to be more environmentally friendly and familiar with what they have conscience through appreciating second hand items. This project is the first of many to be held by a new student organization called TORCH. TORCH or Trinity OutReach Community Helpers aims to inspire and promote community service to all. Through this eco autumn fest Torch hopes to inspire younger students and parents to be involved in the school community and begin taking an active role in helping preserve our environment.

The Eco Autumn fest will also contain a “DROP SWAP”, this will be a long table where parents and students can drop off a bag of clothing. Later on, they can fill up another bag with the same number of items they brought completely free of charge. Clothing will be sorted according to size. Any clothing not claimed will be donated to charities around the community. Please note, if you would like to donate any items to charity, a location on the day will be set up for this purpose.

For those who want to participate in the yard sale, we require you to contact nickton6789@gmail.com or angelina@trinity.ac.th for more information. To rent an area parents can have their child assigned a spot for them. People who rent an area will need to bring blankets or mats to lay items on. If a table is needed we can provide one. Each area to rent is 50B and you can only rent out one space. If there are any questions or concerns you are welcome to contact the mentioned emails.

Sincerely,

TORCH
