Policy of Non-Discrimination
     TRIS admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities of the school.

Applicant’s age. It is recommended that:
  •  Students entering Pre-Kindergarten be two years old by August 1.
  •  Students entering Grade 1 be six years old by August 1.

     The decision regarding the placement of a child will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to English proficiency, social maturity and length of attention span, scholastic aptitude and a desire to learn. The most important consideration must always be the success of the child, not only in the lower grades, but also as he/she progresses to higher levels of education.

Placement Tests
     TRIS administers placement tests, both written and oral, to determine the applicant’s proficiency in the English language in the following areas: general language skills, reading comprehension and oral reading, and writing.
Applicants should complete the following steps:
  1. Complete the TRIS Application for Admission.
  2. Submit the completed TRIS Application for Admission with the following items:
Thai Students:
     a) A recent medical report, preferably within 6 months, including an immunization          record
     b) A photocopy of the most recent school report
     c) Six passport-size photos of the prospective student (name printed on reverse          side)
     d) Two passport-size photos of each parent
     e) Two passport-size photos of each person authorized to pick up the student
     f) Two photocopies of parent’s or guardian’s passport ( if applicable )
     g) Two photocopies of student’s passport
     h) A photocopy of the student’s birth certificate
     i) A photocopy of the residence certificate
Non-Thai Students - In addition to the above, please include copies of:
     a) Student’s passport
     b) Parent’s work permit
     c) Visa stamped on passport
  3. Make an appointment for a placement test
  4. Upon confirmation of acceptance, pay the following fees:
     a) Registration fee (one-time non-refundable)
     b) Development fee (one-time refundable)
     c) Book deposit (refundable)
     d) Tuition fee (semester or yearly)
     e) General fee (yearly)
  

* For specific financial information, please consult the Finance Department, located in the TRIS Office.  In addition to the fees listed above, students will need to purchase standard TRIS uniforms and PE uniforms, as well as Adventure Club and Pathfinder Club uniforms if applicable.
